Today, different men and women do makeup in different ways and times. However, it is still an important component of an average persons life. Most people find it tiring and repetitive to do it every day although it may be part of their professional and personal lives. Gold temporary tattoos offer such people permanent or at least, years-long solutions.

Cosmetic tattoo or permanent makeup is the application of various pigments in desired locations to imitate the temporary makeup that most people use. It is just like getting a tattoo in any part of the body except that in this case, it serves a cosmetic purpose. The client chooses the colours of the pigment with advice from the tattooist.

The places commonly favoured for application of permanent makeup include the eyebrows, lips and eyes. Applying to the eyebrow helps those with faint, partial or lack the eyebrow line altogether. When applied to the lips, it eliminates the need for lipstick and also eliminates scars in the lip region. Other people prefer it as eyeliner that eradicates the need for eye pencils.

The whole idea of permanent make up sounds exotic, convenient and easy. However, it can be dangerous if not done in the right way by the right person. Also, one has to consider several factors before making the big decision. For instance, it is imperative to remember that is actually permanent and to try to remove after the application is almost impossible. Therefore, one should use the designs and colours that they can live with for years.

Also, get permanent makeup if you know and understand the risks. The process is as risky as undergoing surgery because it involves introducing minute wounds into your body. There is the risk that one may be infected. In addition, use of unsterile tools in unsterile locations may increase ones risk of acquiring certain ailments such as hepatitis.

The first step while getting permanent makeup is looking for the right aesthetician. He or she must be trained, licensed and if possible, recommended by a cosmetic surgeon. In addition, check the credentials of your tattooist carefully and crosscheck with former clients. Their places of operation should be clean, presentable and also business like. If anything is out of place, move along and look for someone else.

After getting the suitable person for the job, the next step is easy. Identify the right designs and let the area be sterilized. The aesthetician then draws an outline of the tattoo to be made using one type of needle. After an outline is made, the pigment is injected into the skin layers using the second type of needle. The pigment is left on the skin every time the needle punctures the skin.

Immediately after the process, the colour is dark and almost looks blotched. It takes up to three weeks to take in the right colour. It is important to take great care of the tattoo until it heals. Use the right antibiotic cream and also avoid petroleum-based lotions or moisturizers. Protect it from the sun as it is very sensitive at this point.
