For anyone who has more than one or two pieces of jewelry, whether it be necklaces, bracelets, earrings or other pieces, the question of how to keep them in good condition and still visible is important. For many people, velvet jewelry display box options are the favorite way to keep jewelry of all types at hand and in good condition. One or more boxes can easily be placed in a drawer, shelf or table top.

Display containers or boards can be utilized in various different ways. When you sort jewelry, it could be arranged by the type of occasion, value of the pieces or by the type of accessory. For example, you might keep all earrings together, all pendants together and all bracelets in a third container. Alternatively, you might want to separate costume jewelry from designer pieces. The pieces that you would wear to a sports event can be kept separate from those which would be appropriate for a night at the opera.

The inside of the case is velvet-covered, of course, but the design can be available to suit your personal preference. The box may feature a clear lid to keep dust and debris from getting on the pieces. Some display cases have a wooden cover or other self-material. The cloth itself which covers the interior of the case can be available in various colors or finishes.

The construction of the cases is another feature to consider before picking the perfect item. They can be constructed of wood and lined with velvet, or even plush velvets. The wood can be of an exotic variety and may be stained or painted. Other materials which have been used to provide a container for your jeweled accessory pieces include ceramic, plexiglass or metal.

The design of the interior may also have various designs. For earrings, a grid of smaller compartments makes keeping the earring pairs together is convenient. Sometimes earrings, particularly clip-on type can be fastened to small bars on the interior surface. When pairs are kept together and fastened to the backing, preparation for a special outing is fast and easy.

The dimensions of cases are important. Wearers which have many pieces of jewelry may place everything in a single large case, or perhaps use multiple smaller displays to hold sorted pieces. Smaller collections can be placed in a single case.

When display space is limited, a container with a smaller footprint might be appropriate. A series of trays can be stacked neatly which helps with the categorization of individual pieces, even where there is not much space on a table or counter. When choosing these styles, the depth of your case will also need to be considered.

Although display boxes are designed to be attractive, they must also be functional in order to help you manage your jewelry collection. The boxes come in many styles and colors, as well as many different sizes. The options which are available are also matched with the personal preferences of owners.
